Demon Bike

For the ''Road Warrior Weekend Event'' in 2009 I wanted to build a passable replica of the ''Demon Bike'' as seen in the movie ''Mad Max 2''/''The Road Warrior''. I found a 1979 Honda XL250 and bought it for $200, then spent a little more money (very little) and a lot of time to get it running and fixed up for the event. Here's how it looked:

It came loose from my carrier and I dragged it across the desert behind an RV for a short distance, but that just added to the realism. I did some mods to it for this year's Wasteland Weekend, so here's how it looks now:

I spent a lot of time looking at the galleries at ratbike.org for inspiration. This isn't my ultimate survival bike (it's more of a movie replica bike), but it will do for now.
