Here's a couple of pics of my 1989 Jawa (aka The Brain). It started as a model 638 350 twin. It has had a hard life, it was written-off once when I threw it down a 100ft ravine with a sidecar attached and again when an audi 80 pulled out on me (the audi came off worse! It was scrapped due to major structural damage). It has never been washed.
The tank and headlamp are off a CG125, the rear mudguard and one of the exhausts (which is actually 4" longer than the other) are off an older jawa oilmaster. The rev-counter is handmade out of bits from three others. It is now fitted with german roller bearings in the small-ends and the engine is bored out to 400cc. The red progrips were found in a pile of junk. Sidepanels are off some sort of yam.
It is geared up 5 teeth on the front-end and will still peak out in top at 200rpm over the redline. To date I have broken the dogs off three top gear sprockets.
The bike is currently off the road awaiting me fitting a new MZ-b ignition system. I have a big flatslide carb for it which I will attempt to fit at the same time (hopefully with a big bellmouth). I also intend to convert it to single seat and take an angle-grinder to any superfluous bits of frame.
