so here's my sled... it started life as 98 shadow 750.
i liberated it with all the cash i made out at sea working in the freezer of this shitty barge out in the aleutians.
it was all well and good for a while, but then i got hit by an 83 year old codger driving a farm tractor on the highway.
as our fine judicial system absolved him of any financial responsibility because of my lack of legal representation and
'circumstantial evidence' - also read: the police report.
it was ridiculous, but i had to throw it back together on the cheap and i sort of took my liberties with it.
i put er back together in the kitchen (back when i was still domesticated and living in las cruces...
check out my buddy keeth's 700 virago chop - pretty slick! me and him go way back.)
which is where the vast majority of my wrenching used to go down.
any more it's usually outside somewhere or other, as i'm always chasing this rig around.
so anyway it's covered in truck bedliner, all the linkages and little bits are homebrewed or otherwise scavenged.
i modded the forwards to fit (gotta love cheap ebay stuff) made the seat, made the rear fender out of some other garbage,
retrofitted the ol S&S airbox, added the apes, etc. i like it pretty well. it rides real good even if ol johnny law doesn't
dig it too much. (it or me..? hard to separate i guess) yes, it does have a little bit of shiny stuff left over but
i'll screw that up in time. more pics will follow of other nasty bikes that have found their way out of my kitchen...
