Magna

This is a 1986 Honda Magna, 699cc. I won't go so far as to say this is a ''rat'' bike, but it's certainly not a turn-key chopper. I do hope it will find a place on your page. Anyhow, the bike was chopped by Randy and Nathaniel at Gargoyles Bike Werks. Unfortunately I do not have a before picture, however as you can see the bike was first hardtailed. The dash was removed in favor of treadplate and a speedometer, complete with idiot lights. The scallopes and electronics covers are made out of treadplate as well, and were powder coated in anodized red. The original square headlight was removed and a headlight from a Honda Aero was added to give it a more hot rod appearance. The seat is in the shape of a spade, you may or may not be able to tell from the pictures. The fish tailed pipes were made completely by Gargoyles, and yes, they are not road legal and are exremely loud. Sadly, the bike was totalled a couple of weeks ago when I hit a deer going around 60mph. Me and the guys at Gargoyles have been working on a 1994 HD Sportster, and in it's current incarnation it is certainly a rat. I hope to send you pictures of this bike soon.
