K-rust treatment
I recently tried using K-rust treatment on the exhausts, quick rub down, then liberally brush it on, wait till dry, another quick rub & re-coat,wait till dry ,yes another gentle rub with 400 grit wet & dry, spray or hand paint matt black or whatever takes yer fancy. I did mine with chaos black, Games Workshop (now Abiddos black) & Humbrol matt black, hasn't burnt off yet, but does it stink - try it & find out!
