Wire Loom Wrapping
I painstakingly cut an old mountain bike inner tube, spirally, about 25mm wide, and used it to wrap the wiring loom - Complete protection ! - finish ends with insulting tape. ALSO, on Austin rover use ribbed plastic sleeving on thier looms on the Maestro van, with a slit all the way along, - it slips nicely over wiring and brake hoses and things, Its all over my GS, and looks smart.
